Looking for a unique and deliciously creative way to spend an evening together? Whether it’s a romantic night out or a fun evening with your bestie, our Date Night Pottery Class is the perfect way to connect, laugh, and get your hands dirty!
In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing with expert instruction from local potter John Vela. Create matching mugs, surprise each other with handmade gifts, or just enjoy the process of learning something new—together.

About the Instructor:
John Vela is a ceramic artist based in Austin with 25 years of experience in production pottery. With over 15 years of teaching under his belt, John’s friendly and encouraging approach makes wheel throwing approachable and enjoyable for everyone—especially first-timers.
