Join Austin ceramic artist Autumn Scott of Arrow Ceramics ATX for a hands-on exploration of collage on clay. You’ll layer transfers, underglaze, spray paint, sgraffito, clay attachments, and colored slips to create two one-of-a-kind pieces: a pre-thrown mug and a hanging wall tile. This workshop is all about experimentation and play, and no experience is necessary.

About the Artist
Autumn Scott has worked in ceramics for fifteen years and creates from her studio in Austin. To Autumn, pottery is a blank canvas: she draws, carves, and paints directly onto the clay, shaped by her background in printmaking and graphics. She finds inspiration in Texas flora and fauna, and in the architecture and graffiti of the city around her, layering techniques and styles into pieces that are completely unique.
