6-Week Pottery Class: Tuesday 6–9 PM

Class Overview:
Get your hands in clay and learn the fundamentals of pottery in this 6-week evening class. Each week, you’ll explore a mix of wheel-throwing and hand-building projects, with instruction tailored to your individual interests and creative goals.

You’ll Learn:

• How to center and shape clay on the wheel

• Hand-building techniques like slabs and coils

• Trimming, surface decoration, and glazing basics

• How to finish and fire your work

Class includes all materials, tools, and kiln firings. Just bring your curiosity (and an apron!).

Please note: Our studio has 9 pottery wheels and we offer 10 student spots per session. This means that students will take turns on the wheel and rotate between wheel-throwing and hand-building throughout each class. This approach not only ensures equal access but also gives you the chance to build a well-rounded set of ceramic skills.
