SCP Recipe Box - Fresh Fruit Christmas Tree
This holiday season, create a beautiful, festive fresh fruit Christmas tree. It’s very easy to assemble and is a perfect activity to do with your kids to get them into the Christmas spirit. This makes a lovely centerpiece served on one of our Appetizer Trays.

Ingredients:
- Strawberries
- Green and Purple Grapes
- Blackberries
- Kiwi
- Blueberries
- Blood Orange
- Raspberries
- 1 cucumber
- Mint leaves (optional)
- Toothpicks
Instructions:
- Slice the cucumber at the stalk region to create a flat bottom. Place it on the appetizer tray and make sure than it is level, if it isn’t level slice a little bit more off. You don’t want your tree to fall over!
- Attach strawberries with toothpicks at the base of the cucumber. This will make the base look wider and will create a tree shape.
- Then add the rest of the fruit with toothpicks going up the fruit tree. Break some of the toothpicks in half as you go higher so that the top of the tree is narrower than the base.
- Add in the blueberries and small slices of kiwi to cover small holes so that you can’t see the cucumber.
- Cut a slice of a blood orange and freehand cut into a star shape. Carefully attach the orange star slice to the top with a toothpick.
- Add in bigger pieces of fruit (we used grapes and strawberries) and mint leaf to decorate around the fruit tree.
