Studio Repair and Renovation
Our studio repairs are taking longer than expected. The construction crew hopes to be done on Friday, April 30th. We anticipate being able to resume normal operation as early as May 3rd. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
In February, Texas was hit with a major winter storm that left many homes and businesses without power and water for days and weeks afterward. The studio received widespread damage to the floors and ceilings as a result of burst water pipes and is in need of significant repairs.
We’ve been coordinating with our property manager to assess the damage and come up with a plan, and we’re happy to report that the repair work will begin next week! The bad news is that the studio will have to be closed down while the construction crew comes in and makes the necessary repairs to the building interior.
This is why, starting on April 6th, we will temporarily suspend all production and order fulfillment until we can get the studio back in full operation. We anticipate the repairs taking no longer than two weeks, but during this time, we will not be able to fulfill either delivery or curbside pickup orders. You may continue to place orders, just know that they won’t be available to ship or pickup until April 26th.
We tried to come up with a plan that would allow us to maintain limited production while the construction crews work, but it would have resulted in dragging the repairs out for too long. This way, we can get out, let the repair people work, then we can return and get back to doing what we love: making handmade pottery! We appreciate everyone’s patience while we get sorted out. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
