Wholesale Lead Times for Fall/Winter 2021
Update 09.10.2021: We are currently accepting new orders to begin production on the 27th of September (Week 39). Estimated lead-times are still 6-8 weeks AFTER we being processing your order.
Hello from Sunset Canyon Pottery!
We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe this summer. Also, we would like to thank you all so much for your continued patience as we struggled to recover from the winter storm this year, and as we continue to face challenges presented by COVID. We’re sending out this update to let everyone know the status of order lead times going into the fall:
Generally speaking, we have a weekly production cap, and if we receive more orders than we can process in a week, we have to push new orders into the following week’s production queue. This doesn’t happen very often, but with businesses all over the country reopening right now, we have had a very busy summer with no signs of slowing down in the fall.
As of the sending of this update, we are taking orders for week 36, and are about to push into week 37 (we are currently in week 34). Our estimated lead time is still 6-8 weeks from the start of production on your order (not when we receive it). Therefore, we encourage everyone to place orders ASAP if you are looking to stock your shelves this Fall and Winter.
In order to keep production running smoothly, we strongly request that all orders either be placed on our wholesale website or through our storefront on Tundra. There have been many changes to our product options this past year, and our online storefronts are the best way for you to see what we currently offer.
Furthermore, we will no longer be accepting requests for custom items or patterns until further notice. Phone orders will also no longer be taken, and all customers calling to place an order will be directed to one of our two ordering platforms. Orders that are submitted by email may be accepted but will be delayed, as they take longer to process, especially if there are requests for discontinued forms and patterns that need to be resolved before we begin production.
As always, please email us with any questions you might have (phone calls are far less reliable, as office staff may or may not be working remotely on any given day).
Please save yourself from delays and place your order online today!
