An Update On COVID-19

We here at Sunset Canyon Pottery are taking COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, very seriously. The health and safety of our staff and customers is top priority, and we have taken the following measures to ensure a healthy and productive work environment:

• We have closed our studio to all outside visitors. This includes any workshops or other events that involved foot traffic into our studio.
• We have made coming into work optional. We have a very small staff (less than 10), and most people have decided to continue to work, but office staff and those choosing to isolate themselves to protect loved ones are staying home.
• We have split our staff into 2 shifts, with no more than half of the staff in the studio at one time. This allows people to continue their work while having ample space to distance themselves from other employees.
• We are washing and disinfecting all commonly used surfaces multiple times a day.
• All staff are following the CDC’s recommendations on hand washing and other personal hygiene measures.
• Shipping staff are wearing gloves and cleaning pottery before packing it into boxes.

With these measures in place, we feel that we can continue to safely produce our one-of-a-kind, quality handmade pottery during this time of uncertainty.
