Have you ever watched a potter transform a lump of clay into a beautiful, spinning form and thought, “I wish I could try that?” Now’s your chance! We’re thrilled to host a One-Time Wheel Throwing Workshop on Thursday, December 11th, perfect for absolute beginners.

If you’re curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a multi-week class, this immersive, two-hour session is your ideal introduction. Leave the pressure behind and step into our studio for a fun, hands-on experience where the only goal is to play, learn, and create.

What You’ll Do

Under the supportive guidance of our instructor, you’ll get to know the pottery wheel firsthand. In this workshop, you will:

• Learn the foundational steps of centering and pulling clay

• Experience the tactile thrill of shaping your own unique piece

• Enjoy a relaxed, judgment-free zone designed for exploration

All materials and tools are provided, and we’ll handle the trimming, glazing, and firing for you. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for pickup about 4–6 weeks after the class.

Jessie is a ceramic artist known for her vibrant, playful approach that turns everyday items into joyful works of art. She brings joy to everyday function through bold colors, playful forms, and nostalgic nods to the foods she grew up loving. Her work is designed to spark delight and stir childhood memories, and she’s excited to share her playful approach to clay with you.
