Visit a Historic Production Pottery Studio

Since 1978, Sunset Canyon Pottery has been a cornerstone of the Austin ceramics community. During the Greater Austin Clay Studio Tour, visitors will have a unique opportunity to experience a working production pottery studio in action. See firsthand how our artisans craft high-quality, functional ceramics using time-honored techniques.

We are excited to share our passion for pottery with the community and invite you to explore our classes, workshops, and memberships. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced potter, our studio offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect with fellow clay enthusiasts.

Accessibility Information

• Studio & gallery: Indoors with smooth concrete floors; three steps into the studio.

• Outdoor space with kiln: Asphalt surface with three steep steps. Gate access to the backyard.

• Parking: Limited availability.

• Restroom: Available with a 29-inch doorway.
