With 29 locations and over 100 participating artists, the Greater Austin Clay Studio Tour is an event to welcome the Austin community into area studios to take part in demos and workshops, purchase work from area clay artists, and experience what Austin has to offer the clay world!

Parking
Convenient parking is available in front of our building, as well as the lot we share with APA thrift. For overflow parking you can utilize parking at Walgreens, next to the drive through. HEB at Burnet and Koenig has a large parking lot for extra parking options.
Directions
When you arrive, turn into Austin Pets Alive Thrift, drive down the alley and keep an eye out for a white “Sunset Canyon Pottery” sign on the building. You’ll see our building with the coral colored doors.
Sunset Canyon Pottery Schedule
Saturday, 11 am – Bubbles & Bottles with Brave Ceramics
- Join Tina in a throwing demonstration to make & shape bottles while enjoying some bubbly wine.
Saturday, 1 pm – Tea with Tina & Jessie
- Sip fresh tea from flavored with mind from our studio garden while learning surface decoration techniques using underglaze piping & silk screening printing onto clay.
Saturday, 4 pm – Making a Bust with Jessie Le
- Learn the basics behind creating form and depth when starting a bust out of clay.
Sunday, 12pm – Throwing Small Forms with Joe Fenwick
- Learn how to make espresso cups & small lidded vessels.
Sunday, 2 pm – Glazing Application with John Vela
- Join the owner of Sunset Canyon Pottery as he demonstrates production glazing techniques.
